Growth and prosperity in balance
We are welfare contractors. We believe that every company or organization has a share in a sustainable future.
NEXTSTEP's advice is therefore based on what is unique about your product or service. Right where you're making a positive difference. By highlighting it, we can together find the way to a strong brand and good results for your business and for the world around you. That sounds hard. But it's pretty simple.
Social balance and sustainability must be an integral part of your business strategy. In this way, you unite and strengthen both in your contribution to sustainability and your business.
Whatever your case, it is our mission that you go from words to action and produce results. We have a proven workwear box of methods. We have a large network. We have 20 years of experience. And we have about 1000 tasks in our legs.
How
Strategies
Clear direction, targeted organisational development and noticeable improvements
When you work with NEXTSTEP on a new strategy, you will have an intensive process where we enter the cockpit with you.
We work with a proven toolkit of methods and proess, and before we thank you for your cooperation, you have a targeted, simple plan that ensures clarity of actions, communication and organization.
With the strategy process you find the core of the organization, gain clarity of direction and amplify the power of action.
We love the simple and the concrete, and we see it as our task that you go from words to action —and reach your goals.
With the journey we have a dedicated and widely branched network that we like to bring into play.

"To incorporate the welfare society and people so directly into the strategy is good. Such an industry strategy is 'spot on', that is exactly what Denmark needs"
Margrethe Vestager, then Minister for Economic Affairs and The Interior
Industry strategy for Danish Architectural Companies
You will have an action-ready strategy which includes:
- 1 ambition and 3 concrete goals you will achieve
- 1 core narrative that clarifies who you are and what you deliver
- A plan for the road in must go with "lighthouse concepts" and the main actions
- A clear and simple plan for organizing
- Overview of the most important players and opponents
We control the process through:
- "Board situation rooms" where your board and management are involved and contribute
- "Innovation Camp" where we go in-depth – and create new
- "Pit-Stops" where we meet and ensure propulsion

Alliances
Partnerships with common goals, more resources and greater impact
An alliance unites, amplifies and conveys your cause effectively.
With an alliance, you get a partnership with the main players in the field. You get more decisiveness, more visibility and better range – as well as a well-thought-out organization of the work. Alliances are suitable when you have a complex challenge that several parties have an interest in solving.
THROUGH 1000 tasks, NEXTSTEP has built up expertise in building and leading alliances. We have established a firm foundation of tools and methods that we know work. And with the experience in the back, we are ready to guide you in building and guiding your alliance.

"The Alliance. I and the group that initiated the vision denmark business alliance learned that word and focus. We were a group from all parts of Denmark who wanted to create a new business framework for Danish content producers and their amazing stories and visual experiences. But like many, we needed a clear common vision and associated common goals. Not only did we need to have our strengths defined, we also lacked a common language for the new reality we wanted. We got this through our workshops at NEXTSTEP. "
Jan Neiiendam, Vision Australia
Once the process has been completed, you have an action-ready alliance that has:
- A shared vision and a core narrative of what the alliance is and what it will create
- A master plan of the goals you will achieve and the way you must go
- A plan for communication to raise awareness of the alliance's purposes and achievements
- A simple, energetic and agile organisation that brings together and activates the partners
- Lighthouse concepts that provide better welfare, growth, more business or new politics.
We control the process through:
- Alliance Masterplan kick-off meeting
- Innovation Camps, with experts and politicians – where we go in-depth and think new
- Pit-Stops with action partners to ensure progress
- Action campaigns with citizens and users, creating visibility and interest
- "Release Summits" where we disseminate the results

Camps and Summits
CAMPS and summits are integral parts of both our strategy process and our alliance
A Camp is an intensive 12-48 hour cycle, where we bring together the main stakeholders on the worktable. They usually have different backgrounds and resources, but they share a significant challenge, a common goal and a common interest.
The camp method is characterized by accelerating strategy processes and shortening the time from problem to solution. Camps are also characterized by creating great commitment and concrete solutions – and then it is fun. The method also has the strength of the fact that it contributes to complex problems being translated into operational new solutions.
The camp's participants are inspired by experts, and in teams across industries and interests, the teams work to find concrete solutions and concepts. Each team is led by a professional process leader from NEXTSTEP, and the process is tightly controlled according to the principle of "one task – one deadline". This ensures a constant focus on developing innovative solutions to the challenge you share.

Camps. A good tool we have brought with us from our work to prepare the alliance and motivate the public and private partners that we wanted as partners. Through two camps, NEXTSTEP took a firm grip on the common goals and formulated the first concrete actions that would help us get brought together and get started – immediately. We had ministers on stage – and the promise of a growth team that followed up our visions for the area was launched at our camp."
Jan Neiiendam, Vision Australia
The basic elements of a Camp are:
-
Inspirational presentation by experts, constructive distractions and creative submissions.
-
Group work with the development of goals and actions
-
Assistance to participants from process managers, fact finders that help all teams with facts, key figures, reports, etc.
-
Illustrators and copywriter contribute to all groups of communication and illustrations
- Presentation of objectives and results in plenary. The camp's results are delivered directly to those who must act: therefore, handshakes and handover are a necessary end to a camp
"It's a hell of a time. It has become a very good charter. The spirit of this project is very Nordic, but the implementation will be different. It offers an opportunity to learn from each other."
Martin Lidegaard, then Minister for Energy, Energy and Building
